Restorations Showcase
Noah and his team are repeatedly trusted with the restoration of family heirlooms even if it means a complete rebuild.
We have the capability to refinish, repair, and reconstruct treasured pieces of all ages. We offer traditional finish choices such as natural oils and shellac for an authentic look, smell, and feel. We also offer durable conventional finishes such as polyurethane and varnishes. We always use Citristrip, a non-toxic finish stripper, for restorations in order to reduce our facility's potential chemical footprint.
Our clients say:
"I have a carved 4 door cabinet that my grandfather created approximately 90 years ago. It has great meaning to me and has been in need of repair for a number of years. Both of the upper doors are heavily carved- one totally in pieces and discolored- the other in need of a bit of touching up. Noah came to my home, examined the cabinet and the doors. We agreed on a price, he took the doors and gave me a time frame for completion. He delivered the doors. . . and reinstalled them on the cabinet. He does beautiful work. He really is an artist and a lovely person to deal with. His price was more than fair and [I] am grateful for the job he did. It took quite a bit for me to let someone take those two doors out of my house, but I am very happy I did. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a fine craftsman to work on an important possession." ~Susan
"Mr. Hosburgh did a fantastic job, the table looks new and you can't tell which leg was damaged. This table is almost 100 years old and had water damage, scratches, nicks and the ball on the end of a spiral leg was broken in half. I'm proud to show it off now and will eventually be passed down to my daughter." ~Elizabeth
